Glug Ltd was formed in September 2004 by David Walkden and was a result of 15 years of frustration, working in the Drinks industry. As a senior level executive in a number of major drinks companies, in the manufacturing and distribution sectors, David realised that he was not alone in his desire to produce products that customers really wanted.

The market is flooded with products that the major brand owners create as extensions of already successful ranges. It was the lack of credible, quality products, that incorporated real brand principles at realistic prices that gave the impetus to start Glug.

Glug Limited does not advertise it's product range like many of it's competitors. The reality of slick and expensive advertising and promotion is higher prices to the consumer and less margin to the wholesaler, bar or retail outlet. Glug Ltd's philosophy is to produce high quality products at realistic prices.

Products such as Rancho Viejo Tequila, Sambuca Iseo, Harrys Schnapps range and Royal Piper Blended Scotch Whisky  amongst others, are the culmination of years of searching around the globe for products. Only tequila produced in adherence to the strict standards set by the Tequila Regulatory Council or Sambuca distilled in Italy, the home of Sambuca were chosen to be in the Glug range.

Years of Experience has also helped Glug Ltd find the right products at the right price for it's many private label customer. Whether it is Whisky, Bourbon, Limoncello or something perhaps more exotic, Glug has helped it's customers to create their own brands.
